Blank Productions

Blank Productions is an artist-led interdisciplinary production company founded by writer / theatremaker Mark C. Hewitt. The organisation exists to develop explorative works with artistic collaboration at their core, the company bringing together bespoke teams for the delivery of each new project. Previous funded work includes a town centre photography/text installation, a musical response to an architectural structure and a subterranean site specific live literature production with live music for string sextet. Since 2013, Blank Productions has been focused on ensemble production activity related to Mark C. Hewitt's experimental theatre writing, in particular the development of an ambitious full-length play, 'Civilization and its Discontents: 11 Movements for Theatre' and a new text in development, 'Geneva Convention', both featuring music by Norwegian sampling percussionist, Thomas Strønen.

Blank Productions was incorporated in 2005 as a company limited by guarantee. Company no. 05386804.
